Moreton Bay Environmental Education Centre
The MBEEC is responsible for the management of all school excursions to St Helena Island National Park. The Centre offers a variety of school programs that focus on St Helena Island at all levels.
While all visits to St Helena Island are normally of whole-day duration, some programs are half-day offerings that may be combined to suit the needs of individual classroom studies.

Cat o’ Nine Tails
A B Sea Cruises operate the purpose-built 130 seat catamaran Cat o' Nine Tails. Established in 1982, AB Sea Cruises specialise in a range of day and night tours of the St Helena Island National Park. The St Helena Theatre Troupe provides a ‘first person interpretation of the Island's history using drama’.
Lady Brisbane
Brisbane Cruises offers educational day tours with experienced tour guides. Night programs feature dining and live comedy-drama entertainment (prison ditties, verse, jokes, ripping yarns and the issue of prison garments). ‘Come away in laughter, but with history on how it really was -- in a funny sort of way!’
Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service
St Helena Island is an ‘historic’ national park. QPWS works toward preserving the ruins and artefacts from further degradation and accurately presenting the park and its history to visitors.
